Sheila McGill, head women’s college coach and Blackhawk Girls’ U15-U19 Age Group Director, will provide essential and timely guidance for players who look forward to continuing their soccer in college.

High school girls and their parents or guardians will find this information especially helpful, but anyone interested is welcome to attend.

The process is similar for boys and girls. Since the timelines and landscape differ significantly, we will host a separate session targeted to boys.

Topics will include: setting appropriate expectations; academic and athletic preparation; researching available programs (NCAA, NAIA, et al); the recruitment process, timeline, and rules; communicating with prospective colleges and coaches. There will be ample time for questions and answers.
