Winter Sunday Age Group Training 2016–2017

Boys and Girls born 2006–2009

Blackhawks winter indoor Sunday age group program provides players the opportunity to train on soccer’s turf surface during the winter months. This program is open to all interested players. Select your player’s program by birth-year. Our Winter Dome Age Group curriculum complements and builds on our technically intensive Weekday Winter Skill Builders programs, through the use of expanded small-sided activities and team games.

2009 (U8) Winter Skill Builders
  • Our U8 Skill Builders is a fun introduction to technical soccer skills, including dribbling, passing, ball control, and shooting
  • Format is 40 minutes of instruction (learn a skill with fun games) and 20 minutes of scrimmage (using the skills you learned)
2008 (U9) Winter Dome Age Group Training

2006 (U11) Winter Dome Age Group Training

About Blackhawks

Founded in 1952, Saint Paul Blackhawks is a Saint Paul based non-profit organization serving youths, their families, and the community by offering a high quality year-round soccer program for players ages five to nineteen. This year-round program includes summer traveling teams starting at age 9, fall leagues, winter/spring indoor skills training, futsal, and summer camps. We have professional coaches starting at U9 to enhance the development of the players. We rely on parent volunteers to help with team management, age group coordination, and to participate on the board of directors.
